So, I haven't blogged in a while......oops. I hate the fact that I am so inconsistent with it. I am either blogging way to much or not at all. I guess that's what happens when I go from no school, job, etc. to having a full time job and being a primary secretary. Woo! But, I figured I should do a "New Years" post before January is actually over.
This year is already showing us that it will be filled with changes, trials, and possibilities for many blessings. Without getting into the details that I'm sure don't want to hear anyway, we have started off this year with a lot of stress and a lot of tears, but we have also started with a lot of hope. I have never been a person that likes to jump on the bandwagon of social trends (I have only read the first 2 books of Harry Potter after all), so I am not buying into the mentality that 2013 will be a year of bad luck. I am bound and determined to make it one of the best years we have had yet. I'm just stubborn I guess. :)
Anyway, we had an excellent Christmas and Thanksgiving. Bryan came out to visit us and we spent some time with Gayla and Dave's family. It was so nice of them to allow us to spend time with their family. We played games and ate good food and had a great time. Christmas was very low key and relaxing.
Here are some pictures of things we have done over the last few weeks.
Our good friends Thomas and Kayla and their adorable boys, came to stay with us for a night before flying to Utah for Christmas. We had the opportunity to go to the zoo with them, which means Lyle had an opportunity to play National Geographic Photographer. I think he did an awesome job. :)
New Year...
We wish you a very happy New Year. Sorry it's a little late, but it's better than me wishing you a great 2013 at the end of this year right?
