Here is a quick update on our lives (quick as in I am writing this on my lunch break), because I know how much you all are dying for a new blog post. :)
Amy came to visit us over Memorial Day weekend and Bryan came this last weekend. Here is what those two weekends were like, in a brief summary and in no particular order:
2 Trips to the Space Needle
2 Trips the Aquarium
1 Harbor boat tour
1 Trip to the Flight Museum
1 Temple visit
Too many Oysters eaten (yuck!)
2 Tom Douglas's restaurant dinners (Lyle's and my favorite)
1 Ride on the ferris wheel
7 hours on a boat for whale watching (but at least we saw a hump back)
2 Trips to Pike Place
1 Molly Moon's Ice cream visit
1 Excursion to look for the Fremont Troll
At least 3 times circling on and around the bridge looking for the troll....seriously....
1 trip to the Pacific Science Center
1 trip to the EMP
2 Near death experiences accidentally heading up the wrong way on a poorly marked one way street, love downtown Seattle
1 time running along the pier getting drenched by rain
1000 pictures...probably, I really haven't counted
2 very tired hosts
There are probably many other things, but that list makes me tired just looking at it.
We are so glad that we have siblings who can and will come and visit us. Thanks for coming and having fun with us Bryan and Amy!
Pictures will be coming soon but between my job, Primary calling, cleaning after the visits, and our newly purchased gym memberships, I have been very very busy.
