October Catch Up 2012

We went to visit my family in October. Lyle had some paid time off to use up from JCP and we know he will lose it after the end of the year (not to mention that he won't be able to use it during the holidays), so we decided to take advantage of it. We made it home over conference weekend and were able to celebrate Carter's birthday while we were there.

He is so hard to photograph. He is always moving and I am not a good enough photographer to capture his wiggliness. I apologize for the blurry images. I just have to share them anyway because his face is so funny.

My mom was so excited about his birthday. I swear we never had that many decorations or presents for our birthdays when we were younger. Carter is definitely more spoiled than we ever were.

He was much more excited about the plastic fork than the cake, which you can't see in this picture because he is playing with it.

Ok, sorry for the overload of my nephews pictures. I just can't help it. :)

The rest of our trip out to Idaho was mostly uneventful. We just wanted to hang out with our family. We ate ate Rupe's and we were able to see everyone.

When we came back to Washington I had a job interview. A few weeks later, I learned that I got the job at the Monroe library. It's about 20 miles away to the north. It's a full time job working the circulation desk and fixing the computer problems. I know it isn't anything glamorous, but I enjoy working in libraries, and the extra income will be helpful.

Other than those few things, our October was fairly uneventful. We had a few trick or treaters and had all of the ward boundaries in our stake change. But that's about it. :)

I am a bit nervous to start my new job tomorrow. Ok, I'm a little more than nervous, I'm terrified. I haven't had a job in about 2 months and I have only been in that library twice. I only met a couple of people when I did my interview and I am worried about getting along with everyone. Wish me luck! I will need it.
